A former coworker from St. Norbert College asked me if I'd make this rosary for his son's First Communion. This was a great project because he and his wife knew exactly what they wanted. They chose the beads, crucifix, and centerpiece based on some rosaries I've made in the past. The Hail Mary beads are 8mm steel blue painted glass with subtle splashes of black, white, and gold in the paint. The Our Father beads are 8mm jet black glass. The centerpiece is St. Michael the Archangel (my favorite) and the crucifix is the Italian Crown of Thorns and nail crucifix.
