There's a back story to the idea for this rosary. Joe, a high school classmate, asked me to make this rosary for him to hang in his 1939 Ford. Three years ago, after I made rosary #22, I realized that the colors of that rosary matched his 1933 Ford, so I gave it to him to hang on its rear view mirror. So when Joe got his hands on this cool 1939 Ford, he wanted another matching rosary.

For this one, I used red carnelian beads (from Amazon) for the 53 Hail Mary beads. I used some white glass beads (from Hobby Lobby) for the 6 Hail Mary beads. The centerpiece is St. Michael the Archangel, patron saint of law enforcement. The crucifix is a hefty metal with a crown of thorns and two nails.
