This rosary came about from a casual conversation with a woman with whom I work at the polls on election day; we've known each other for years at church. When Rose Ann found out I make rosaries, she asked me to make this one for her to give to her nephew as a birthday gift. Her nephew is currently in formation to become a Norbertine priest.

These dark wood Hail Mary beads are great for a tough, masculine look (the rosary is indeed a weapon after all). The Our Father beads are a black lava bead with a unique texture. The black wooden crucifix is a perfect complement, the material matches the Hail Mary beads while the color matches the Our Father beads. The centerpiece says "Saint Norbert Pray For Us". From the centerpiece I hung a fleur de lis charm, a symbol often used by the Norbertines.
