This rosary is indicative of the kinds of students I've had the pleasure of spending time with at St. Norbert College. This time, Isabelle wanted to give a rosary as a First Communion gift to a young girl who she takes care of. How cool is that? The girl loves pink, so this design easily fell into place. The Hail Mary beads are a pink swirl design made of glass; I had seen them at a store a few months ago and I just bought them because I knew I'd want to use them some day. Perfect for this project. The Our Father beads are a white howlite bead which features slight gray marbling. The crucifix is a simple base metal. The centerpiece is a chalice on both sides, a perfect reminder of her First Eucharist. The chain is silver plated.
