I stumbled on these 8mm faceted amethyst beads while shopping. Though I wasn't looking for something like this, I just had to have them. Actually, they immediately reminded me of my alma mater, Green Bay West High School, whose school colors are purple and white. So, using them as the Hail Mary beads, I matched them with some glass faceted beads that I've had for many years for the Our Father beads. The centerpiece is an image of Mary with "Our Lady of Guadalupe" inscribed on the back. I also hung a "W" from the centerpiece, as a nod to the West High School Wildcats. The crucifix is very traditional. I made this rosary on New Years Eve, the perfect way to finish out 2020 on a high note.
